Why this needs a bridge

This page is a static HTML file running in your browser tab. Browsers deliberately don't let a webpage open a shell on your computer â€” that sandbox is what keeps every other website you visit from doing the same thing. The local model (Ollama, etc.) is also just answering with text; it can write out a command, but writing text isn't running it. So "system access" here configures two separate things: what the model is told it may propose, and whether this page is even allowed to forward an approved command to something capable of executing it â€” the local bridge above. Without the bridge running, every level behaves like "None" in practice, just with different wording in what the model is told.
